Strong and Reliable
Fast, Simple and Cost Effective
1. No heavy equipment required.
2. The panels are non-strippable, eliminating the required labor, inventory, clean up and storage of strippable wood forms.
3. Their light weight makes them especially useful when the terrain is rough or the site is difficult due to inclement weather conditions.
4. Form-work can be constructed like conventional form-work.
5. The ends of the ties are exposed and act as attachment points for bracing, furring strips, or metal lath. No fastener required to attach the concrete core.
6. Construction crews that have never done form-work before can rapidly learn the Thermalite system, dramatically increasing the builder’s potential and efficiency.
7. A sheet of 3/4” plywood weights approximately 60lbs. The same area of Thermalite panels weigh approximately 8lbs. An assembled Thermalite form (4 square feet) replaces four and a half heavy 8” X 16” speed block in one application.
